The Charlotte Partridge Ordway Japanese Garden at the Como Zoo is one of my favorite places in the Twin Cities. This secluded garden appears harmoniously within the surrounding landscape as you approach the winding path to the water. The tree lined grove that embraces the area soothing the sounds of the park and city beyond. I go there to listen to the gentle falling water, the leaves rustling in the breeze, and the birds in the skies. It recharges me, and grants me a moment of true serenity that only Nature can provide.
