Man, that Minnesota music scene was something else in the early 80's. I was just a bit too young to appreciate it at the time. The Replacements' star on First Avenue couldn't have been in a more perfect spot--right by the back door. There shows were legendary for their chaos, but they left an indelible mark on the early punk/alternative scene. More black and white prints from MSP are being worked on as we speak, so stay tuned!
