During the time I spent at the Minnesota State Fair’s Midway, I marveled at the sensations all around me— the smell of mini-donuts and hundreds of other foods, the whoosh of air from the rides, and the laughing and screaming coming from fair goers. So many memories from my youth came flooding back as I watched the rides fly into the late summer’s night.
